Dear Brian and Barbara, You, and yours are in our thoughts and prayers as I recall many fond memories of the years growing up in the old neighborhood and the presence of your dad in our lives. I am truly grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing your Father and know that he greatly influenced all of our lives.

Barb and Brian, Jim and I are thinking of you during this difficult time. Can't believe how truly hard it is to lose a parent. Will remember both Dennis and Dorothy for my whole life. A memory that stands out is how they always put on the kettle around 9 each evening. Then a few cookies would appear or perhaps a tart. Makes me smile to think about this. Dear Barbara, Brian and families, I am so sorry to hear that your dad has recently passed away. Your family were such special neighbors to ours when we were all growing up. I know my parents are going to miss seeing your dad drive down the old alley in his new car for a visit. It was very thoughtful how he always stayed in touch. My deepest sympathy.
