Maureen ,
I was sad to hear the news of Mary's death .
I have many fond memories of our family holidays to Savona when we were young. Your Mom always made a fuss over us and made sure there was lots of fresh baking on hand . I was amazed by her beautiful garden ,her ability to whip up some new clothes on her sewing machine in no time and her involvement in politics . She had an energy and enthusiam for life we all admired.
Take Care . You're in our thoughts.

I met Mary through my Mom. Mary, my Mom, and I often watched musicals at Grant MacEwan. It was fun to spend time with her. She had lots of spunk and made me smile.
When I went to the U of A and graduated, she gave me a beautiful graduation gift, a wooden keepsake box, which I treasure.
She came to my wedding and I can still picture her with Bernie and Randy.
It was an honor to know her.
Sending you deepest condolences,
Kisa Mortenson
