Heartfelt condolences and sympathy go out to you, Mary, and your extended family upon the death of your Mother, Mildred Doyle. I was one of the fortunate students who had Miss Bloor (as she was known then) as my Grade Three teacher at St. Agnes School in the early 50\'s. We all loved her. I remember her as tall, pretty, and wearing a broad smile. She was firm in the classroom, but very kind. She obviously made a huge impression on me, because I never forgot her. Ironically I became an elementary teacher as well, and never forgot how kindness and respect for small children were a basis for effective learning in the classroom. Miss Bloor, or Mrs. Doyle as she became later, was a lovely lady who shall be greatly missed.
