I was so sorry to hear of Liz's passing. I moved in to McQueen in 1986. I always had dogs and would walk them in the alley past her and Nick's house almost every day - they were always so kind to us. Nick gave me my first tomato plants ever, and when Liz moved into her apartment she gave me her book on the Halifax Explosion (my father was from Halifax). She was always smiling, joking about her "Jimmy", and she always looked like a million bucks! She was a real delight and she will be missed by everyone who knew her. I'm sorry I can't be at the celebration of her life tomorrow. I will remember you all in my prayers.
