I am so sorry to hear Jack's passing, and offer my condolences to his family and friends. I had the privileged of working with Jack at the Wildbird General Store for several years as well as bumping into him on birding events and counts as well. He was such a warm and friendly man, with an admirable love of sharing his knowledge and experiences with everyone. He will be missed.

It was a shock to see the announcement of Jack's passing come up from the Breeding Bird Survey group. Jack has always been such an amazing man and a great friend to the birding community. He will be so missed but remembered fondly. Chuck and I are so sorry for your loss, but what an amazing life to celebrate. He will never be forgotten.

We are so sorry to hear of cousin Jack?s death. I have many fond memories of family gatherings with Jack as official photographer. It was a surprise and a delight to discover Jack in his musical life a few years ago. I am sure he will be missed in many circles.
