My favorite "Aunt", always fun to be around, for me anyway. She enjoyed life and traveled and enjoyed visiting with all who would listen. She will be sorely missed.and had a long life with many stories to tell. It was always nice of her to visit my mom and us down south of the Canadian border. Thanks to all that helped care for her and prayers for all that mourn her loss. We have so many good memories to cherish...and a 100 year birthday gathering, brought us together as a family. May she rest in peace.

Thank you for looking after Aunty Lil, and for sharing Umptie's life in pictures, phone messages and texts, from Edmonton. Also, and most appreciatively, for the orchestrating of her final wishes and arrangements, and her Celebration of a Life, a life well lived, "no regrets".
I do understand and know to well that this is an especially hard time for all who hold Aunty near and dear; however, even more-so for you and your family who have always been close at heart and close at hand.
Take care of each other.
Be well.
Much gratitude to you Brent, and teenie bousies to Umptie as she is laid to rest.
Most sincerely, and with love,

posted by Tracey Miles : Lillian was Aunty Lil to my Mother, Lorraine. Lorraine is Adla's daughter, Aunty Lil's sister was Adla. So then Umptie Lila, as I called her was my Grand Aunt, as she liked to be called, and she would then be Great Grand Umptie Lila to my son William S. Miles III. Aunty Lil was my maternal Grandmother's sister. In and with gratitude for taking good care of Lillian in her final days. She will be deeply missed.
