We have known and enjoyed the Lamont Family since our arrival in Edmonton in 1967 because of our associations with Trinity United Church as members. We associated with Rich, Gary, Laurie and Bob at different times in this association. Hazel was the member of the Family that we knew best because of her church work and because of our patient-physician relationship. Hazel was a very faithful Christian and usually was on the Church Board when I was there. We could always depend on her frank and down to earth advice and support. But more than that she was the "glue" that held together so many volunteer social activities that were so important for Church Life. One could always count on Hazel's support for a good cause, especially in her later associations as the most knowledgeable person in charge of the Memorial Fund, which served not only to raise funds, but also to keep the memorialized person's name as part of Trinity's history. Her gentle chuckle was part of a quiet sense of humour which we shared on many occasions. This kind, caring, gentle and loving person will always be remembered by us as a model as to how we should live our lives. She also taught her children about these qualities which will live on in their lives as one of her special legacies. Mary and I have and will miss her very much and will be donating to the Memorial Fund in her memory, so that her name will be part of Trinity's history always. We extend our deepest sympathy to Hazel's extended Family but rejoice in the celebration of a life well lived. In Christian Love, Mary and Doug Armstrong
