Kathie & Family...we would like to express our sincere sympathies on the passing of a husband, father and a great person. We can only imagine the feelings that are so close to the surface and the sense of loss that you are feeling. Our memories will be of a man of incredible knowledge, who had the special gift of dealing with and inspiring people and making them always feel comfortable. It did not matter if you knew Jan for 10 minutes or 10 years, he always had that special twinkle in his eyes that welcomed you, like a long-time friend, ready to start a conversation over a single malt. It was just a couple of months ago that I found one of those special gifts that Jan had given me, I had a drink and remembered.... Friends forever...Rose and Bob

Dear Kate, Andrzej, Marek and Mariette, After 54 years of friendship, we are sooo sorry to hear of Jan's passing. We will miss his smile, his Christmas wildlife calendars, his spectacular boeuf bourguignon and his general all-around kindness. We have had so many good times together over the years!
