To Derek?a family and friends, please accept my deepest condolences. It was very sad to hear the sudden passing of Derek. I got to meet Derek in all conferences with CLAC, he was a very knowledgeable man. Very sad to hear that his life is taken way too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God grant you with Peace and strength during this difficult times. I would also like to extend my condolences to my CLAC family, to each and one of you, hard to lose a colleague/friend, I send you hugs and prayers of strength and Peace. I?ve been a steward working as a florist with Saveon Foods for several years. Derek was a very knowledgeable and inspirational man. I always enjoyed listening and learning from him. He had a wonderful personality and sense of humour. Clac will not be the same without him and I will truly miss him. He will be with us forever in our hearts. Sincerely, Shelley Vaughan.

I wish to offer my condolences to the family and friends of Derek. I knew Derek through CLAC as he was my first representative at SOF. I grew to know him more at conferences and most recently at bargaining. He was a fierce protector of his members and made sure your voice was heard. Derek showed so much enthusiasm and passion for his job and I know his presence will be missed. It was truly a shock to hear of his passing. I wish the family comfort and strength at this difficult time.
