Michael John Day

I haven't seen Michael for over 10 or 15 years . The last time I believe it was at a Symphony concert, But I was well acquainted with him through our years performing together with the Edmonton Opera. I remember him fondly. He was an enthusiastic supportive colleague and friend. His vibrant interest in life, history and the arts and his ability to communicate his enthusiasm and joy endeared him to all of us who knew him. My wite, Betty, and I send our condolences to the family and all near and dear to Michael God Bless and Keep You Michael.

I knew Michael for many years as a fellow chorister with Edmonton Opera. We enjoyed performing in many shows together over the years and we also enjoyed many chats in the dressing room about all kinds of of topics and issues (political and otherwise). Michael had an infectious enthusiasm in his character and he loved the arts. I shall miss him.

Dearest Michael: A loyal Tory & friend. And a classy British Canadian Gentleman who made for many a good chat about all manner of topics. I hadn't been aware he got the cancer. Hadn't seen him in 5 plus years, what a glorious 9 decade run. Now he can have a cup of tea with his late wives & best friends up stairs. Pain free & stresses all gone. Mike knows if any1 how to keep the conversation going.
