My father Bill Simpson was good friends with Mary. He was a member of the group of artists who would gather at various Alberta campsites to create landscape paintings and to enjoy the company of fellow artists. My Dad spoke very highly of Mary. He also taught school in a one-room school house just like Mary. He and Mary had that in common in addition to their love of Art and nature. I send my condolences to Mary's children and grandchildren.
