To the Konning family .I am truly sorry to hear the passing of your mom .I was your moms hair dresser for 30 years . Once a week we would share our stories and have many many laughs I would ask how her week was and she would say getting old isn�??t for sissies . Your mom live her chocolate treats and many cookies I would snack on with her as she was getting her hair done . I would throw a few chocolates in her purse when she paid me . I�??m glad she wasn�??t diabetic with all the sweets we ate . When covid hit I never seen her much but she would still try to come in . She always come in with her mask in her chin .That would give me a chuckle .I would tell her that the mask needed to be on her nose not chin. That would only be good there if she fell and her chin would be safe . I will truly miss you mom she will always be in my heart and memories. She lived a good long life . She was a proud and independent woman . I have heard many stories about her family .I once told her son I new your mom when we were both young ladies . I was shocked to hear of your mom�??s passing. She was such a good friend in the early years of my life in Canada! She helped us a lot and I learned a lot from her. Also I remember fondly the time we went on holidays with the Koning family to the Peace country. Janny was a warm, loving woman, who I always will remember. My most heartfelt condolences, Joke Destree/Groenendyk I so fondly remember all of us kids climbing trees, riding bikes, camping, running around the �??acreage �??, being an unsecured passenger in the back of the blue Impala(?) stationwagon, on a dusty drive �?�and Janny and Gijs taking wonderful care of us all. The support and friendship shared with my mom and I from �??The Konings�?�, will always be cherished.
