On behalf of my mom in law Agnes Primrose, I am passing along her sincere sympathies on the death of your father. Agnes lived at the Waterford with Doug and the had a kibbutzing relationship. As she withdrew from activities after Covid, Doug would pop by and visit, encouraging her to join in again. Agnes moved to a higher care facility end of March. She wasn?t able to attend the service today. He was a character and a gentleman.

When my parents and I moved into our brand new home in Parkview on my fifth birthday, Doug and Muriel Troock along with Doug Jr. and Lorna were already fixtures in the neighborhood. Elaine arrived at a later date. I have fond memories growing up two houses away from the Troock family and was saddened to learn of Mr. Troock's recent passing. He was the last original owner in Parkview--Vern Nyberg, my father, was the second last. Both families lived there happily for many, many years. With Mr. Troock's passing, it is definitely the end of a era.

I didn't know him personally but I am a new member of the Patricia 91 masons. So after receiving notice of his passing, I send my deepest sympathy for the passing on your husband and loving father, grandfather may his memories live on eternally.
