Sincerest Condolences to the Family and closest friends
Extremely grateful that Gordon permitted me some sheet music songbooks of pieces hard to find
I am a better musician today because of him
Rest in Peace

Leo and I have many fond memories of Kimberley listening to Gordon playing his accordian. I am so fortunate to listen to Leo playing his Excelsiola most every day. Our deepest sympathies to you Erna and all your family.

We knew Gordon for almost 50 years. But to us, he was always Günter, his given name. He was a long time member of our international Cultural Association called Schlaraffia. A very valuable member, a good ambassador and an excellent contributor across Canada with his music.
A fun loving, helpful and valuable friend has left us. We will miss him a lot.

Just heard of Gordon?s passing, and wish to express my sorrow? as a musician and friend. We played so many gigs together over the years, from the Mayfair Hotel to the Petroleum Club to The Penthouse at the Caravan Motor Hotel, and lots of gigs in between. I was the bass guy in Gordon?s quest to create that ?George Shearing? sound. And post gig drinks at my place to analyze what we had just played. We had a lot of good times, and I?ve missed him a lot since moving away 40 years ago. So long Gordon ??til the next gig.
