We were very sorry to hear the sad news that Alex passed away. He was such a beautiful person inside and out. I had the esteemed pleasure of working for him at BioLab Australia and will always cherish the memories of my time working for him and knowing him. I credit Alex and his work ethic and the work culture that he, Dennis and Paul lived with my work habits today all these years later. I am certain there are people here in Australia that credit his legacy to their success, I know I do. It wasn't just work but so many fun times. Whenever we had the pleasure of his visits be it Conferences or Business, Alex always made time for everyone, he was generous and caring. I had the task of organizing his retirement dinner in Melbourne, many people flew in from interstate to attend, and wish him well, a testament to Alex. We were very fortunate to see Alex on his last trip to Australia, we shall treasure those recent memories. Our sincere condolences to Alex's family. RIP Alex.

Dear Noreen and Family, It was a privilege to have met Alex so many years ago when BioGuard launched in South Africa. He was so approachable and had a wonderful (slight naughty) sense of Humour. When we first met he said that he was born in Claremont and was a big Western Province rugby supporter when he was younger. On the few other occasions we met when he was in South Africa, he was always say "So, how's good old WP doing" . He was a real gentleman and will be missed, Rest In Peace, Alex

Our sincere sympathy to Alex's family: Noreen & Jim, Lorna, and family. We feel so blessed to have met Alex some forty years ago and to have been part of the BioGuard family. Alex and his team gave us the tools we needed to be successful in our business, and we had the joy and extreme pleasure of having traveled the world with Alex, sharing in his adventures which often took us out of our comfort zone, but what a ride!! We will never forget being with him on his return to South Africa, and star gazing with him in the middle of the Namibian desert. We also had the privilege to visit with Alex in St. Albert and know he was in good spirits and at peace, and so very appreciative of the love and support from his family and his friends. We will be forever grateful for you touching our lives, Alex, and for all the memories we keep in our hearts. R I P. Love, Lee & Brian Scobie

Dear Noreen and family, Our deepest sympathies on the loss of our dear friend, Mr. Chandler. I worked for Mr. Chandler at BioLab Canada for over 12 years. He had a very special place in my heart and I feel that the feeling was mutual. He was such a kind and generous person and he always referred to our daughters as his "surrogate grandchildren." Anytime we spoke, he always asked about my family and took a special interest in them. When he received my daughter's wedding invitation in the mail, he told me he showed it to everyone in the nursing home and that he felt so honored to be invited to the wedding. Anytime Mr. Chandler's Jaguar required service, he trusted me to take his car in for him. I was known for playing April Fool jokes on him and one year, I told him that all his four tires had a flat. He went out in the pouring rain to check his tires and when he returned back into the office soaken wet, he was not happy. (he did not have a flat tire) I will always cherish my working days at BLC and will never forget Mr. C. I spoke to him just days before he died, and I told him I loved him. His last words to me were, "I love you Sweetheart" and I can still hear his voice in my head. Rest in peace Mr. C. Our deepest sympathies to you all. Love Silvia, Paul and family xooxox
