Dear Desanko family!
We extend our sincerest condolences and love to you on the passing of our very close friend Verna.
Our families have been together for over 60 years, beginning in Winnipeg when we were raising our children. Verna has regularly been a dear friend who has helped us in many ways when our children were young and we needed her caring support. Since relocating to Edmonton, we continued our friendship and were always thankful for Verna's Christmas and Easter gift of delicious holopchi, delivered to our door with a smile and a hug.
Rest in Peace Verna!
Love,
Jerry and Vera Stepnisky

Our condolences go out our cousins Denise,Danny , Deanne & family. Verna always welcomed our family when with came to visit when Donny & Verna lived in Winnipeg. We had lots of fun with our cousins. Verna was an excellent cook and we never went away hungry after our visits. Even though we may have not kept in touch much, we somehow spoke.
We k ow that Verna is in a good place with her family by her side. ????
