The staff of Thomas Skinner & Son Ltd. were deeply saddened to hear of Morris' passing. Morris was a true gentleman, well respected in the Edmonton business community as a man who got things done with a focus on excellence. We truly enjoyed each encounter we had with Morris; he was a "bigger than life" type of person. Our hopes, wishes and prayers go out the the Kool family and their friends as they come together to mourn the loss of this great man.

Dear Peter, David and Ann,
On behalf of the Stout family I would like to express our sorrow with the passing of Morris who, in our eyes, was a gentleman and one of the "good guys"! His old world charm coupled with refreshingly direct manner was very much respected by me and my father. Your father and husband was a kind and generous man who helped me on several occassions by passing along his experience and gentle business advice. One of my favourite memories was made when Morris introduced me to a fellow whom he thought I might be able to help technically. Not 5 minutes into our first project meeting, Morris leaned forward and politely asked the chap; "Please forgive an old Dutchman for asking this question, but do you have any money to spend with my young engineering friend?" Polite, gentle but very direct!
If kind advice, thoughtful conversation, gentlemanly manner and fine sons are the measure of a good man, then Morris sat at the pinnacle of a very tall mountain! Please accept our heartfelt condolences and warm thoughts. Kindest regards, Curt Stout & Family

First met Morris almost 30 years ago, he was my first client. In all the time that has passed since then, I have not met anyone that equalled Morris's sense of fairness, business acumen, and honesty. We are all better people for having known Morris, he was one of a kind and will be truly missed.
