Dear Diane, Barb and Ann - How I wish I was with all of you today. It's at times like this that you realize the love and strength of family. We are all wrapping our arms around you giving you the strength and the love that you need right now. You are saying goodbye to Auntie Bets and how we will all miss her. She has my heart with her as do all of you. Auntie Bets was such a treasure. She is one of the most brilliant women I know and I was always in awe of her keen mind and her knowledge. She seemed to know about everything. I always looked at her as being such an important person - after all wasn't the U of A library hers? We will all miss her terribly. This world lost a star this week but she is shining in heaven. I send all of you my love at this sad time. Your lives will never be the same but you all have such a wonderful heritage because your mom was strong and smart and lovely and she shared that with the three of you. You three, were always her greatest joy. We will miss her but we have only the BEST of memories. I love you all and I wish I was there in Edmonton with you. Love always, Cindy

Hello. I worked with your mother at Cameron Library and she was always kind to me. I remember her lovely smile and laughter. I am sorry for your loss, but celebrate Betty's life and all she did for the University of Alberta libraries. Sandy Campbell

Diane, Barb & Ann:
We were very sad to hear of your Mum's passing. I remember her fondly and always remember her kindness to me when I was a newcomer to Edmonton & Canada. All of us here are sending our love, sympathy and prayers to you all.
