Sheila and John send you and your brother our deepest sympathy and condolences on hearing of your mother's death. We became friends of Eleanor and Ross through the monthly meetings of the Parkinson Society in the Edmonton General Hospital after Sheila's diagnosis,in 1994. We started the first Support Group in Edmonton, for Parkinson Persons and their Caregivers in January 1995 and were regular attenders at the monthly meetings at St. Joseph's hospital until we moved to Calgary in 2000. We kept in touch with Eleanor, mainly E.mails, since 2000 and were aware she was having health concerns through our contacts at Southminster/Steinhauer United Church where we also worshipped.
Your Mother was indeed a wonderful kindhearted woman and a pleasure to have known.

Dear Bryan and Brad,
We were very sad to hear about your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor and will be missed by all the old 39th Avenue gang. We remember fondly all the wonderful desserts that she used to bring to our block parties, all of which your Dad claimed that he had made. Eleanor gave so much to so many people, she was a most caring and generous woman.
Our hearts go out to you at this difficult tme.
