. I frequently saw your Dad when I visited my friend at the Jubilee Lodge. He was quiet and pleasant. Your Dad had an amazing full life as we learned from his obituary. Sincere sympathy to you all.

Condolences from Nordurljos, the Icelandic Canadian Club of Edmonton, with deep appreciation for Gunnar's remarkable contributions to Icelandic heritage and culture for over half a century. On a personal note, Gunnar's family history touched my husband Gordon's maternal Breckman family of Lundar, as well as my paternal Jones family of Warren, as well as links to Winnipeg's West End.
