On the morning of November 12, 2014, Jennie Elzinga was called home to be with her Lord whom she dearly loved.

She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Elzinga, in 1986. She was also predeceased by her 14 siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her eight children, Winson (Josie) Elzinga, Henrietta (Hank) Fousert, Lewis (Jane) Elzinga, Melvin (Hilda) Elzinga, Sandra (Gerben) VanderVeen, John (Ann) Elzinga, Grace (John) Vleeming and Jennie (George) Seibel. She had 37 grandchildren and 92 great-grandchildren.

Private interment will take place at Westlawn Memorial Gardens.

A Memorial Service will take place at the Orthodox Reformed Church of Edmonton, 11610 – 95A Street NW on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a time of fellowship.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Home where Jennie lived for almost 33 years. A special thank you goes to all the staff at Emmanuel Home for their loving care of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
