MACDONALD, Norman It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Norm MacDonald, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the age of 87 years.

He is survived by his daughters, Velvet and Pat; step-son, Rod Switzer; step-daughters, Annette Switzer, Wendy (Art) Blum, Christine (Gerry) Copeman and Linda Blaikie; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Norm was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy; as well as all of his siblings.

A time of Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00pm at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 114 Street, Edmonton, where a Funeral Service celebrating Norm’s Life will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 2:00PM

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Norm can be made to Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alberta Lung Association, Alzeheimer’s Society, STARS Air Ambulance or Edmonton Humane Society.
