(Maiden: Mathison)
of St. Albert
Mar 18, 1951 - Feb 10, 2015
Our beloved mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend, Dianne Fischer, passed away with her family by her side on February 10, 2015 at the young age of 63 years.
Left to treasure her memory are her children: Jenny, Doug, Sarah and Erin; and cherished grandchildren: Reagan, Madison, Gavin, Kellan, Rachel, Gage and Charlie. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her dad and mom: George and Mildred Mathison; and brother, Jim Mathison, who are waiting for her with open arms.
She was born March 18, 1951 in Calgary, Alberta, but spent her teen years in Rochester. She built a loving home for her family and managed a small farm in Onoway for many years. Dianne and her children moved to St. Albert in 1997, starting a new chapter in her life. With hard work and dedication, she became a successful property manager at Magnum York Property Management. Dianne was fortunate to have travelled widely throughout her life both for work and play with her family and friends. As a parent and grandparent, Dianne gave the gifts of her intelligence, strong values and creativity. She will be remembered for her love of dancing, long summer hours spent caring for her beautiful garden and sewing, especially the treasures she created for her family.
A Celebration of Dianne’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Foster and McGarvey St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta. All are welcome to attend.
