It is with great sadness that we announce that Dorothy passed away at the Grey Nuns Hospital. Dorothy was born in Calgary, and has made Edmonton her home for the last 60 years.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Fitzpatrick; and her brother, Ernie.

She is survived by her son, Glen; his wife, Elinor; as well as her nephew, Brent Mainwood (Maureen) and their children (Scott, Stephanie, and Andrea).

She lived her life thinking of others first; leaving school to support her family when her father became ill, assisting her brother Ernie by managing his accounting office, and taking care of her mother. Above all, she will be remembered for being a kind and patient wife and mother, whose quiet strength was appreciated more than she knew. She will be missed.
