On Friday, September 11, 2015 the Lord promoted to glory our dear mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rie at the age of 79 years.

Rie will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children, Trudy, John, George and Linda; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jenny, Tina and Betsy; brothers, Betus and Wim; as well as numerous family and friends.

Rie was predeceased by her husband, Gerrit; parents; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 13427 - 57 Street, Edmonton.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hope Mission, 9908 - 106 Ave. NW, Edmonton, AB, T5H 2N7 in memory of Rie.
