On September 9th, 2016, Ainsley Sankeralli passed away at the age of 84 in Edmonton after a courageous battle with Multiple System Atrophy with his family at his bedside.
Born in Boasse village, Cedros, Trinidad and Tobago, making Edmonton his home for 54 years, Ainsley is survived by his children, Beverly Roche, Lisa, and Tony (Arlene) all of Edmonton. His greatest joy in life in addition to his wife and children were his four grandchildren, Jayde, Cierra, Evan, and Erika. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Roslyn Sankeralli (Meghu) and his loving sister, Pearl Seunarine. Ainsley was a Junior High Science teacher for 30 years in Edmonton who devoted his life to education and lifelong learning.
The family would like to thank Miller Crossing Long Term Care Home staff for providing an enjoyable and caring environment for Ainsley during the last year and a half as the effects of MSA caused increasing challenges to his daily life.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church, 8810 Meadowlark Road, Edmonton, on Saturday September 24th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
