Marcel John Rotzinger passed away in Edmonton Alberta on November 28, 2016 at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital.

Marcel will be deeply missed by his loving children, Paul Rotzinger, Carol (Bill) Robertson, Linda (Jim) Scouten, and Susan (Bryan) Brochu, and grandchildren, Tim and Kathryn Rotzinger, Andy and Julie Robertson, Eveline and Benjamin Scouten, and Simone Brochu. Marcel is survived by his brother, Rene (Nadia) Rotzinger and sister, Betty (Edward) McCoy.

Marcel was predeceased by his father, John Robert Rotzinger; mother, Frances Johanna Rotzinger, and beloved sister, Toni Hodgson.

Marcel was born July 5, 1930 in Zurich, Switzerland. "MJ" had many lifelong friendships that were a cornerstone of his life. During his long career as an accomplished electrician, Marcel contributed to major industrial projects throughout Alberta. Family was everything to Marcel, and he was a true gentleman who brought his positive outlook and sense of humour to every situation. He was well loved and respected by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 5th at 12 noon at St. Theresa’s Catholic Parish, 7508-29 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta.
