Bouwe "Bob" (Opa) Schaafsma

On April 9, 2017, Bouwe "Bob" Schaafsma passed away at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his four children; Sjoerd (Rose) Schaafsma of Lethbridge, Hanneke (Doug) Button of Okanagan Falls, BC, Henny (Henry) Wyngaards of Grande Prairie, and Suzy (Bruno) Schilke of Edmonton; nine grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and those whose loves he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 27, 2017, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Suzy and Bruno’s place.

Thank you to all the caring staff and his special friends at Laurel Heights and the outstanding staff in Emergency and Unit 54 of the Grey Nuns Hospital for their great care.
