On May 3, 2017, our dear and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 63. She fought a short but tough battle with cancer.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Peter; son Aaron (Lynn) Bonko; daughter Nicole (Anson) Boyes; four grandchildren, Ethan Boyes, Shay Boyes, Nathanial Bonko, and Joshua Bonko; five sisters, Olga Kilpatrick, Frieda Harrison, Erna Huff, Helen Speer, and Marilyn (Rudy) Olekson; three brothers, Reiny (Lorraine) Hein, Danny (Linda) Hein, and Ray (Elaine) Hein; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Emily was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Regine Hein; three brothers, Albert (Judy), infant brother Johnny and Robert; and by sister Anne Javorsky.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Beulah Alliance Church, 17504 - 98a Ave NW, Edmonton, with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating.

The family is very grateful for the wonderful care and support provided by the staff at the Grey Nuns Palliative Care Unit #43.
