On May 9, 2017, Pat Desrochers passed away at the age of 79 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward, in 2011.

She will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Karen (Ken), Kathy (Norm) and David (Bernadine); six grandchildren: Wendy (Michael), Jamie (Wade), Lori, Dylan, Cole and Aidan as well as two great-grandchildren: Alexandra and Timothy.

Pat was born in Cadomin, Alberta and loved attending the reunions there. Pat and Ed started Ed’s Shoe Repair in 1957, where she kept busy doing bookwork. They loved to travel and had many great adventures over the years. Pat was a great friend to many and will always be remembered for her great sense of humour and her wonderful laugh. She was very well known for spoiling grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home (10011 – 114 Street Edmonton).

In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to The Parkinson’s Society of Alberta.
