On June 10, 2017, Marilyn, with her children by her side, peacefully passed from this world to the great casino in the sky.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Jason (Elizabeth) and Kirsten; grandchildren, Stephen, Sarah, Daniel and Alexandra; the father of her children, Dennis (Nancy); and by her sister, Joyce Deedman.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Irene Deedman.

Marilyn will be lovingly remembered for her fondness of plaid, the special way she would push up her glasses, her cheeky sense of humour, and the love she shared with family and friends.

A Celebration of Marilyn's Life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. at St. Albert Botanic Park, 265 Sturgeon Road, St. Albert, Alberta.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WIN House or Youth Empowerment Support Services (YESS).
