It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving wife and mother, Louise Nykolyszyn on August 15, 2017. Left to cherish her memories is her husband Don; children Marlene (Jeff) Sckirl and Larry Nykolyszyn; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings Leonard (Nola) Normand and Suzanne Normand; as well as many other friends and family members.

Louise’s passion was her family. Her favourite moments in life were spent raising her children with Don, and caring for the grandchildren as they came into the world. She especially enjoyed a few outdoor activities with her family, including camping and gardening.

For those who wish to pay their respects, a Celebration of Louise’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home (10011 114 Street, Edmonton). In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
