The family of Arie Krikke, of Edmonton, Alberta, is saddened to announce his passing on Friday, August 25th, 2017, at the age of 89 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his family: his wife, Cecelia (nee: Tiemstra) of 64 years; children, Sheryl (Don), Christine, Emily (Gary) Wendy, Warren (Cynthia), Vern (Monique); 12 grandchildren (plus 5 spouses), 7 great grandchildren, his sister, Lula Gelderman, and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Willem and Cornelia (nee: vander Veer) Krikke; and his sister, Clara Kippers. Visitation will take place 7:30 – 9:00pm on Thursday, September 7th, 2017, at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St.Albert. A private family Graveside Service will take place on Friday, September 8th, 2017, followed by a celebration of Aries’ life on September 8th, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Orthodox Reformed Church, 11619 – 95A Street, Edmonton, Alberta. Memorial donations in Arie`s name may be made to the Canadian Bible Society.
