On Thursday, May 3, 2018, Florence passed away peacefully, with love, grace and dignity, at the age of 90.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Stanley Mish; loving husband John George Thomas; brothers, Frank (May), Lloyd, and Edwin (Lorna) Mish; and sisters, Jean (Oliver) Mittelbusher and Clarice (Bill) Allen.

Florence is survived by her sons, Brian (Maureen) and Larry (Val) Thomas; grandchildren, Kristi and Scott Thomas, Megan (Dean) Braithwaite and two great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Laurier House Lynnwood for their compassion, support and care. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton.
