On May 10, 2018, Jacoba went to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age 79.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Harm, and by her brother Hyme.

Jacoba will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jacob, Diny (Lyndon) Kok, Thomas (Rilla), and Evelyn (John) Veldkamp; grandchildren, Erika, Lydia, Emma, and Laura Kok, Caitlin Ward, Noah, Matthew, Daniel, Thomas, and Micah Veldkamp; siblings, Tieneke (Jerry) Molenkamp, Thomas (Hennie) Boersma, Lien Boersma, Ank (Cor) Vogel, Frieda Boersma, and Jaap (Iet) Boersma; five brothers and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will take place between 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton.

A Graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Providence Canadian Reformed Church, 12905 - 122 Avenue NW, Edmonton.
