Cristeta "Mommy Ting" Millora Monje

Born in 1932, Cristeta is the 2nd of 7 children of Gonzalo Millora and Maxima Marzan. She completed her BSc inEducation at Far Eastern University. She married Maximo Monje shortly after and had two children, Raffy and Wilma. Sadly, she lost Raffy in 1981 but gained a new child, Jay-R, Raffy’s son.

After a short stint at the local high school, she realized her passion is in nurturing young minds. She went back to school and received her BSc in Elementary Education and Master Teacher 1. She was secretly called "the Terror" because she ruled with her stick and would not hesitate to use it for non-compliance. She retired in1989, leaving a lasting legacy – her students; most of whom are successful and some have gone farther than she had ever hoped for them to go.

She is a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an auntie… but most of all, she is and will always be a friend.
