On December 15, 2018 Anne Haarsma, at the age of 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her children, Joanne (Peter) Vander Werff, Norman, Peter, Linda (Lionel) Van Doesburg, Kathy (Bryan) Knol, and Mark (Melissa); 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Bert Boonstra; sister-in-law, Pearl Boonstra; brother-in-law, Ernie Boklaschuk; in-laws, Gary Haarsma, Reta Haarsma, and James Hanenburg.

Anne was predeceased by her husband, John in 1991; brother, Carl Boonstra; sister, Grace Boklaschuk; sister-in-law, Janis Boonstra.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 19 from 7:00-8:30 p.m., at Foster & McGarvey St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 20, at 1:00 p.m., at First Christian Reformed Church, 10956 – 96 Street, Edmonton.

Prior to Service, an interment service for the family will take place at 11:00 a.m., at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Westview Continuing Care Centre for their compassion and kind care during Anne’s stay.
