The LORD took home to Himself, Korien Nieuwenkamp, on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the age of 85 years. She was very thankful for her many dedicated caregivers, including those who provided palliative care, and especially her husband, Henk, and her children.
Korien’s presence will be missed and she will be fondly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Hendrikus Johannes "Henk"; her children and grandchildren, son, Henry (Karen) and their children, Brandon (Fawn), Jennifer and Tabitha (Chad); son, Albert (Maryse) and their children, Joel (Leah), Theo (Courtney), Elsie (Jon) Miersma and Katie; and daughter, Korien Sampson and her children, Kenneth, Stacey, Victoria and Kimberly; 16 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, as well as her church family, and many friends.
A Service of remembrance and thanksgiving is scheduled for
Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Reformed Church, 13427 – 57st Street, Edmonton with Rev. John Marcus officiating.
