On February 7, 2019, Jay Metheral passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 90 years.

Jay is lovingly remembered by his three children, daughters, Crystal (Kim), Kate (Judd); son, Dwight (Brenda); five grandchildren, Michelle, Danielle, Dylan, Tyler and Kacie; six great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Piper, Eli, Sophia ,Iyla and Ireland; sister-in-law, Louise Zornes; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jay was predeceased by his wife, Bobbie; parents, Austin and Edna Metheral; sisters, Jean, Joyce and Elsie; and brother, Gordon.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at McClure United Church, 13708-74 Street NE, Edmonton, AB.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jay’s memory to the Edmonton Food Bank.
