Ted Liss, age 87, formerly of Sangudo, AB, passed away on March 29, 2019.

Ted will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his sisters, Helen (Hugh) Smart and Valeria Ferguson; daughter, Sherry Liss (Rodger Amy); special friends, including Margaret Newman and her family; as well as other family members throughout Canada and the USA.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Liss (nee Fridel); and brothers, Vlad, Ken, Stan, John and Ed.

Ted was a successful farmer, as well as an inventor and builder, who dedicated his life to the betterment of his family and his community.

The Liss family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at Extendicare Mayerthorpe, Pleasantview Lodge and Mayerthorpe Home Care for years of compassionate care.

A private inurnment will take place where Ted will be laid to rest next to his parents, John and Mary Liss, pioneers of the Sangudo area.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. In lieu of sending flowers, please read to a child, visit an elderly person, help a neighbor, volunteer in your community.
