Thankful for having her in our lives, the family of Lorraine Webb (nee Lee) is sad to announce that she passed away peacefully in early July at the age of 80. She is survived by her husband, Bill; daughter, Cathy; son, Michael; sister, Noreen; and six grandchildren. Lorraine will be remembered fondly for her love of piano and music. She played piano for family and friends at our annual Christmas Carol Fest, and spontaneously played when the mood would strike. She generously volunteered to share piano music as well as run the senior’s shopping cart for the residents of Hardisty Nursing Home for over 30 years. With a twinkle in her eye, she was an excellent hostess and shared many meals and glasses of wine with friends and family, including our annual Corn Roast. A Celebration of Lorraine’s Life will be held on Friday, July 19th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace United Church, 6215-104th Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T6A 0X9. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Grace United Church. The family would like to thank Lorraine’s kind and compassionate caregivers at St. Thomas Seniors Residence and the University of Alberta Hospital.
