On Sunday, August 18, 2019 Robert went to be with his loving Lord & Saviour at the age of 72 years after an eight-year struggle with cancer that he managed with incredible resiliency & dignity.

Robert will be dearly missed and forever remembered by the love of his life, Cecile "Sue" (nee: Kremer), his wife & best friend of 52 years. Cherishing his memory and carrying on his legacy are his children: Robbie, Trevor (Kim) & Kim; his grandchildren: Mikhayla, Travis, Faith, Brooke, Anson, Kendra, Meagan, Kassidy, Julia & Alexis. Robert will be greatly missed by his siblings: Mary Rose (Robert), Albert, Mary (Jim), Yvonne (George) & Debbie; in-laws: Irene, Alphonse (Susan), Leon "Coco", Laurier (Joanne) as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ida & Louis and brothers: Victor, Henry, Art & Johnny.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks for all the compassionate hospice care given to Robert at Foyer Lacombe.
