On January 5, 2020, Jennie went into the arms of her Lord and Saviour at the age of 79.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Gerry; children, Gerald (Josée), Mark (Tomoko), Cherilyn (Curtis) Adair; grandchildren, Jessica and Brian Adair; siblings, Bertha (Simon) Dykhuizen, and Harry (Audrey) Groenwold.

She was predeceased by her brother Henry Groenwold.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Little Mountain Cemetery, 16025 - 54 Street, Edmonton, with a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Christian Reformed Church of Edmonton, 13427 - 57 Street, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Home.
