In Loving Memory of

Lois Margaret Carter

 

On June 24th 2020 Lois Margaret Carter passed away at her home The Good Samaritan Society Southgate at 89 years of age.

Lois Margaret Carter's journey began February 4th, 1931 in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Lois was the fifth of six children, Marie, Howard, Stan, Norman, Roy, born to George and Alice Carter. All predeceased by Lois.

Lois moved to Edmonton in the mid fifty's and married to John Huta. Lois and John had two children Susan, and Guy. Lois and John raised their family in a suburb of Edmonton, Jasper Place, in a subdivision named Meadowlark Park. Here, Lois loved the outdoors, cycling, enjoying long walks, and camping adventures.

Her love and compassion for people lead Lois to begin a long career working alongside Dr Max Dolgoy until their retirement.

Lois's (LoLo's) true passion was spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Noelle, Ryan and Paige. She was supportive of all their endeavors.

Lois is survived by a large and loving Family, Susan and Glenn Pettit and daughter Paige, Guy and Cathy Huta, and Daughter Noelle Andersson, spouse, David and great grandchildren Max, Andie, Finnley, Axel, Son Ryan Huta spouse Alexis and great grandchildren Dominic, Summer, Bridget.

Lois spent her final years of here life in the comfort and care at the Good Samaritan Society Southgate, with Dementia. Lois received the most dedicated, compassionate care and attention a Family could wish for a loved one.

The family would like to acknowledge the courage of the Professional members of the front-line care givers and their unwavering conviction to perform their duties during the covid 19 pandemic, which has increased an already challenging position, well done
