It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Johanna (Joan) loving wife to Theo and mother to Desiree (Doug), Lucy (Doug), Joyce (Barry) and Bernadette (Tetsuya).

Our Mom fought a courageous battle with COVID over the last 2-weeks succumbing peacefully on April 23, 2021. Thank you to Unit 44 at the Grey Nuns Hospital for their care & compassion.

She will be heartbreakingly missed by her husband, daughters, sons-in-law, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mom, Oma, Goma will always have a special place in all our hearts.

Due to COVID restrictions a memorial service will be held at a later date.

At Mom's request, in lieu of flowers, a donation to The Sign of Hope Society of the Catholic Social Services, 12431 Stony Plain Rd, Edmonton, AB T5N 3N3 would be appreciated.
