It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Eleanor on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the age of 88 years.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her son, Don of Edmonton, sister, Marjorie Lauer of Ottawa, nephews, Rob (Heather), Jim (Louise) and their families of Ottawa, sister-in-law, Marjorie Edgar of Innisfail, as well as nephews, Wilf (Debbie), Keith, Peter, niece, Penny, extended family and many friends.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Robert James in 2008. Don extends a heartfelt thank you to all the Home Care staff from Bayshore, for their compassion and support given to Eleanor, and especially to Denise who we saw on a regular basis. Also, many thanks to Grandview Continuing Care for all they did for Eleanor while in their care.

A Memorial Service will be held at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton, Alberta on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 2:00 pm.

Following Eleanor's wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Edmonton.
