It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Setsuko Kikuchi at the age of 93 years.

She is survived by her loving family; three children, Dennis (Kazue), Amy (Ken) and Jim; seven grandchildren, Drew (Lo), Nikki (Vino), Marc, Brendan, Dustin, Jonathan and Tracie; three great-grandchildren, Navy, Kaz and Zoe; two sisters, Michi and Masako (in Japan); numerous nieces and nephews but was especially close to Connie (Alex), and Darlene.

She was predeceased by her husband, William; parents, Sutejiro Tomiye and Matsu Matsumura; brothers, Tom Hideo and Charlie; sisters, Aya and Tamiyo. The family would like to thank Tomoko (Mark) for her devoted care over the last 8 years.

A livestreamed Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2021 at 2 p.m., at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 114 street, Edmonton. Foster & McGarvey is exclusively participating in the Restriction Exemption Program. Government issued photo ID and proof of vaccination via QR code or a negative COVID test in the last 72 hours is required upon entry.
