On January 8, 2022, I lost the love of my life. John passed away at age 85.
Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Marlene; daughters, Jodi-Mae (Rick), Janie-Lee (Dan) and Jay-Lynn (Jack); 7 wonderful grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Diane), Dale (Kathryn), Randy and their families; sister-in-law Carmen and family; nephew Harley and family; numerous relatives. They all lost the best father, grandfather, brother and friend anyone could ever want. He lived his life for all of us unselfishly.
John was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Aleksandra Petruskevich; siblings, Gary, Jean and Donna; nephews and niece, Darryl, Murray and Lisa; in-laws, Mike and Gertie Pysh. The Pysh family loved him and were grateful to have him in their lives.
Thank you to our extended family, our great neighbours, friends and his Home Depot friends for their kindness to John and me.
Our gratitude for Dr. Chea, Dr. Wolch, and the caregivers at units 53 and 44 at the Royal Alex for their kind and considerate care that they showed him and our family.
A Celebration of John's Life will be announced in the spring. John, we will always love you and miss you. ‘Till we meet again.
