of St. Albert
Aug 23, 1949 - May 21, 2022
After a long battle with cancer, Dwayne Bryon Fawcett of St. Albert, Alberta, passed peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 72. He will be dearly missed by his children, Bryon (Lea), Tammy, Traci; grandchild, Samantha; brothers, Norman and Russell (Greg); and many brothers and sister in-laws, friends and co-workers he touched over the years.
Dwayne has been reunited with his loving wife, Linda, of 40 years; brothers, Milton and Vernon; sister, (Marjorie); parents, Clarence and Ida; as well as a number of immediate and extended family and friends.
Dwayne was raised on a farm near Riviere Qui Barre, Alberta, and raised some hell in his younger years. In his late twenties he purchased his first gravel truck and hauled material throughout the area for the following 40+ years. His dedication was second to none. Settling in St. Albert, he raised his family with the love of his life, Linda. Dwayne loved a good conversation whether it be on the phone, CB radio, over a deck of cards or a few bottles of beer. He loved winning at cards, a good tease as well as a good laugh (often at someone else's misfortune). He loved camping and fishing and ultimately sharing all these experiences with the ones he loved. He was a warrior in the purest sense of the word and so full of wisdom and experience. He will be greatly missed but his legacy carries on with those he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
