"Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, let me stand...in your Presence".

On Monday, June 13, 2022, Our Lord called Mary Oostenbrink home, and gave us all peace and understanding that her suffering was over and that she may now be able to abide in the presence of her Holy Lord and Saviour.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Joe Oostenbrink; children: George Nooitgedagt Jr., Irene (Ken) Sitko, William (Wendy) Nooitgedagt; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, to whom she was known as Beppe. Mary will also be lovingly remembered by Joe's children: Rick (Ingrid) Oostenbrink, Tom (Regan) Oostenbrink, Brian (Jacqueline) Oostenbrink, Joanne (George) McElroy, Sharon Oostenbrink; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, to whom she was known as Grandma Mary. Mary also leaves behind 2 sisters in Holland, Geeske Hoomans and Wieke Zijlstra, and countless family members who considered her aunt or tante.

She was predeceased by her first husband, George Sr. in 1997; son, Henry in 1995; son, Ron Dryden in 2021.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at West End Christian Reformed Church (10015 149 St., Edmonton), following a private graveside service for immediate family at Westlawn Memorial Gardens.
